September Change for Good: AFC Community Fund
As we enter the beautiful month of September here in Southern Oregon, we're excited to share that our Change for Good partner this month is our very own Community Fund. As many of you know, the Community Fund allows us to support amazing local projects and organizations doing great work right here in Southern Oregon.
From donating to food banks and meal programs, to supporting community gardens, arts initiatives, and sustainability efforts, our Community Fund is one of the key ways we give back to the community that has given so much to us. When you donate your spare change at checkout this month, 100% will go straight to the Community Fund. Even just a few cents makes a difference and helps spread positivity in Ashland.
During September you will also notice that we are raising money to support the Maui Strong Fund, which is organized by the Hawaii Community Foundation. Unfortunately, our community knows all too well how devastating wildfires can be. We hope that our efforts can help those in Maui who are finding their way through this.
Thanks for being part of our Co-op community! By shopping with us and donating to the Community Fund and/or the Maui Strong Fund, you help make world an even more vibrant, compassionate, and inspiring place to live. Looking forward to seeing you in the store!
