February Change for Good Partner: Rogue Climate
As we navigate the challenges posed by climate change, it becomes increasingly vital to support organizations dedicated to creating positive environmental impacts. This February, Ashland Food Co-op proudly introduces Rogue Climate as its Change for Good partner. Join us in supporting their mission to empower Southern Oregon communities most affected by climate change.
Rogue Climate is on a mission to empower Southern Oregon communities, especially those that are most impacted by climate change, such as low-income individuals, rural communities, youth, seniors, and communities of color. Their focus is on achieving climate justice by advocating for clean energy, sustainable jobs, and a healthy environment.
Rogue Climate actively engages the community through monthly volunteer gatherings where individuals can come together to learn more about their crucial work and take direct action for climate justice. These events serve as a platform for education, collaboration, and the opportunity to make a tangible difference in the fight against climate change. For more information or to get involved, reach out to Susie at [email protected].
Participating in the Change for Good program not only aligns with our commitment to sustainability and community support but also reinforces the collective power we have to make a meaningful impact. By rounding up your purchases, you contribute to a cause that goes beyond environmental concerns, reaching into the heart of communities that are disproportionately affected by climate change. Join us in making a positive impact and be a part of the solution for a healthier and more resilient Southern Oregon!
