JOB TITLE:Temporary Produce Shift Leader (through 9/30/25)
SCHEDULE: Up to 40 hours per week, any shift or day, including weekends and holidays.
COMPENSATION: $17.50/hour, non-exempt.

Job Summary: To maintain fully stocked, attractive displays and provide prompt, friendly and helpful customer service.

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbss frequently, up to 60 lbs. occasionally
• Stand and walk for the entire shift
• Be willing/able to work receiving and handling product in a 40° cooler for up to 6 hours per day
• Sit and review information on a computer screen or on paper for moderate periods of time (up to 2 hours a day with lunch and breaks)

General Responsibilities:

• Report potential issues or problems to Manager
• Maintain safe working conditions. Assist in training employees in department procedures and safe working procedures and monitor on a consistent basis
• Ensure all areas of department are clean and well-organized
• Assist in making sure that all department products are fully stocked and rotated to ensure freshness
• Assist in merchandising and resets
• Ensure maintenance of all displays
• Use signage, point-of-purchase, and recipe information to inform customers and to meet labeling requirement
• Ensure accurate inventory control of all products.
