JOB TITLE: Meat & Seafood Assistant
SCHEDULE: Up to 40 hours per week, any shift or day, including weekends and holidays.
COMPENSATION: $16.50/hour, non-exempt

Job Summary: To maintain fully-stocked, attractive displays and provide prompt, friendly and helpful customer service. To safely handle and process meat and seafood items.
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 60 lbs. frequently.
- Stand and walk for the entire shift.
- Willingness to work in a cooler environment (approx. 40-50° for entire shift, below 40° for hours at a time)
- Self-motivated and able to work as a member of a team.
General Responsibilities:
- Ensure that full, attractive product displays are maintained.
- Rotate and face product to ensure freshness and visibility.
- Ensure accurate and sanitary product processing, cutting and grinding, packaging, and pricing according to department procedures, Organic Handling, and Department of Agriculture regulations.
- Ensure that shelf signage is accurate, current, complete and placed correctly.
- Greet, interact, and provide excellent service to our shoppers.
