We’ve teamed up with Rogue Valley Farm to School to offer three different camps this summer. Each week campers will dive into food production, preparation and exploration, with a mix of farm and kitchen experiences that delight the senses and inspire the soul. Join Rogue Valley Farm to School staff as they cultivate the ability to grow and cook delicious, healthy, seasonal meals.
June 18th-22nd: Eat Your Way Around The World! During this week, campers will learn how to prepare healthy, delicious meals from scratch, inspired by foods from cultures around the world. Topics covered will include knife skills, kitchen and food safety and cleanliness, measurement, how to read a recipe, and international cooking techniques. Please send your child with a healthy, non-sugary snack each day. Lunch will be provided, prepared hands-on by the campers! Monday - Wednesday at the Co-op Community Classroom, Thursday & Friday at the Farm at SOU.
June Camp: Ages 7-9
Other camp dates: July 9-13 or August 13-17
A limited number of scholarships are available for Jackson Care Connect members, who must register at the Info Desk. Scholarships are available for one session on a first come, first served basis.

Instructor: Rebecca Slosberg, Program Manager, Rogue Valley Farm to School
Rebecca loves any excuse to be outside and feels lucky to have a career sharing this love and enthusiasm of our local environment. Rebecca has worked as an interpretive park ranger and environmental educator all over the country from Alaska to Florida. She spent several years as an educator at an outdoor science school in California and moved to the Rogue Valley to get her Masters degree in environmental education at Southern Oregon University. Rebecca enjoys being out in the Rogue Valley, whether it’s hiking, skiing, backpacking, chasing after her children or helping kids get their hands dirty.
