Thinking of doing something for your community on Earth Day?

The Ashland Food Co-op invites all community members to join us in an effort to keep our Bear Creek clean. This year we are clearing blackberries from Ashland Creek Park to slow their march into Bear Creek. Ashland Parks & Recreation will provide all gloves and gear needed to remove blackberries. Please wear comfortable clothing you don’t mind getting dirty and closed toed shoes. Meet at Ashland Creek Park on Saturday April 21st at 9am. Snacks and coffee will be provided.

This event is part of the Bear Creek Stewardship Day project- a yearly clean up event along Bear Creek in the cities of Ashland, Talent, Phoenix, Medford, and Central Point. The event is sponsored by SOLVE, a non-profit organization that brings Oregonians together to improve our environment and build a legacy of stewardship.

Ashland Creek Park- 27 E. Hersey St.
Time: 9am-11am
All supplies will be provided. Wear clothes that can get dirty and closed toed shoes. Parking is available across the street from the park at Ashland Christian Fellowship.
