Check the air quality for your health!

Wear a N95 or P100 mask to prevent particulate inhalation.

Other specification masks (or just using a handkerchief) will not properly filter out harmful particulates.

Contact your HVAC service provider

Determine whether your system can accommodate a HEPA filter with a MERV rating of 13 or 14.

Stay hydrated!

Mix fresh lemon juice with water for an anti-toxin cleanse for your body.

Keep doors and windows closed in smoke events.

Even on lighter days, smoke can collect in the home through a cracked window. Keep it out!

Use your car or home air conditioning.

A/C systems’ built-in filters will help to clean incoming air. Make sure your car vents are on recirculate; and close any vents on your home fireplace.

Limit your stove and oven use.

Using your vent hood with your stove or oven can lead to unfiltered air being circulated through you house; not using your vent hood may mean that anything burned off during cooking will remain in your home.
