In this class, we will explore the medicinal and aromatic spice blending techniques of India. We will prepare a variety of dishes to form a complete meal, with an emphasis on the presence and practice of cooking as a ritual to produce nourishing, medicinal, and vibrant foods. In the spirit of “Love, Feed, Serve” , this class is not only intended to provide experience with traditional spices and methods, but to also inspire love and service woven into our personal kitchen rituals. This is a hands on class, and we will all be in the kitchen preparing our meal together.
