Get better acquainted with your knives! Thinking about replacing a knife or two or three? Confused about the options available and which ones are best suited to you? Those questions will be answered as you learn more about which knife to use for which job. How to sharpen your knives and how to keep them sharp, along with proper care and feeding of your knives. During this 90-minute class, you'll have the opportunity to practice varied cuts from dicing, slicing, and julienne'ing. All participants are encouraged to bring one or two of their own knives for practicing and sharpening. And don't fret! You'll still walk away with a little food in your belly, as the produce used in class will be put to use in a salad along with the vinaigrette you'll be preparing!
