No Indian meal is really complete without a pickle or a chutney. Jam packed with flavor and tang, a small amount will take a meal to a completely new level. Chutneys also make great bread spreads and can transform an ordinary lunch sandwich into something lip-smackingly special. Learn to create tantalizing flavors using natural ingredients such as turmeric root, fresh cilantro, green mango, chillies, molasses, ginger, lemon peel, peanuts, split mustard, tamarind - to name a few. This pickling process uses no artificial preservatives. Kumud Gokani will share original recipes from the Ayurvedic Indian kitchen, with a sprinkling of stories from her life growing up in a large Indian family and cooking daily for everyone.
Please note that we cannot issue refunds for missed classes or cancellations that are made within 48 hours of the class.
