1 cup pecans
1 cup whole grain spelt flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon sea salt
2 eggs
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1 heaping tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
1 cup golden raisins
2 tablespoons orange zest
Powdered sugar for garnish

Preheat oven to 325͒ F.

Place pecans on an ungreased cookie sheet and roast for 5 minutes. Remove from oven and chop coarsely.

Sift the flour, baking powder, and salt together into a bowl.

In another bowl, beat the eggs. Gradually add the brown sugar, then the dry ingredients.

Fold the rosemary, raisins, nuts and orange zest.

Spread into a greased 9-inch baking pan. Bake for 35-40 minutes at 375 degrees until golden.

When cool dust lightly with powdered sugar. Cut into squares to serve.
