Greek Lamb Meatballs with Tzatziki

1 cup onion finely chopped
2 large garlic cloves minced
½ teaspoon salt; pepper to taste
1 teaspoon dried oregano
3 teaspoons fresh mint or 1 teaspoon dried
¼ cup fresh parsley
¼ teaspoon dried cumin
¼ teaspoon cinnamon
1 pound ground lamb
1 cup fine fresh bread crumbs
(or dry toast that has been finely chopped)
1 large egg beaten lightly

Pre-heat oven to 400͒℉ .

Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well.

Make meatballs using one rounded teaspoon of meat mixture. Roll between hands then place on an ungreased shallow baking pan.

Bake meatballs in upper third of oven for 15 minutes or until golden and cooked through.

Serve with Tzatziki.
