Learn more about the Board
Board Directors are volunteers who are elected for three year terms. The Board of Directors has four primary duties:
- Make key decisions to oversee and guide the business and affairs of the Co-operative
- Act as trustees for AFC owners and inform owners about the status of the Co-operative
- Ensure sound management of the Co-operative
- Set long-range goals and plans for the future
Board committees roll up their sleeves between meetings to take on special projects, plan recurring events, and help advance the Co-op’s Ends. Many committees also welcome participation from Co-op Owners who aren’t on the Board - offering a great way to get involved and make an impact.
We currently keep an archive of Board of Directors meeting minutes going back to 2004. Recent Board meeting minutes are posted shortly after the meeting.
We keep an archive of our virutal annual meetings and our annual reports. In 2019 we transitioned to creating an impact report which outlines our ever increasing sustainability efforts.

Please note the Board of Directors does not manage the day-to-day operations of the store. Questions about store operations should be addressed to the General Manager through our contact form.
