Kelda Vath
Kelda brings more than 20 years of public library experience to her work with the AFC and holds a Master of Library and Information Science from Rutgers University. She is passionate about fostering community, supporting personal growth, and cultivating wellness and mutual respect.
Originally from Northern California, Kelda has lived on the East Coast and most recently in Washington state before settling in Ashland with her family five years ago. She joined the AFC Board to support healthy food access and community wellness, bringing her commitment to public service, and she is honored to collaborate with its dedicated staff and contribute to the Co-op’s vital role in the Valley. When she’s not at the library, Kelda, who is also an Nia Black Belt instructor, enjoys dancing, exploring new recipes, and spending time with her husband and two teenagers.
