DIY Kid's Class- Homemade Holiday Gifts from Nature

This holiday season, Rogue Valley Farm to School educators join the Co-op in helping children craft plant-based gifts while parents enjoy a free afternoon to shop, relax, or otherwise prepare for winter festivities. Children 7 and older will have the opportunity to choose a gift to make for a family member. Whether it's an edible creation, herbal body care product, or artistic nature-based craft, each child will take home a unique creation for a loved one. Children will also make gift cards and homemade wrapping paper!

Gingerbread Cookie Decorating Party

Happy Holidays from our Co-op family to yours! We’re cooking up some fun for our 3rd Annual Gingerbread Decorating Party. We’ll supply fresh baked gingerbread cookies, organic decorations and mountains of frosting (gluten free options will be available). Come by anytime from 11am to 1pm to create your edible masterpiece and leave the mess with us. This event is FREE and open to the public. We encourage guests to bring nonperishable food items to donate to the Ashland Emergency Food Bank’s winter food drive.

Electric Vehicle Ride & Drive Event

Try out the latest in electric vehicles (cars and bikes!) at the Co-op's Ride and Drive event.

Join us October 21st, 10a - 2p, next door in the Umpqua Bank Parking Lot and test drive the lastest in electric vehicle technology, like the Chevy Spark, the Chevy Volt, the Kia Soul and a variety of electric bikes. To test drive, participants must present a valid license and proof of insurance.

You will also have the opportunity to learn more about charging options, potential savings and purchase incentives.

2017 Annual Meeting

Join us for the 2017 Ashland Food Co-op Annual Meeting.

This year you can participate in two ways. We’ll host a live session in the Co-op Classroom, 300 N. Pioneer St., and simultaneously broadcast a virtual meeting that you can view from home at your computer or on your mobile device. You can choose!

During the meeting you’ll be introduced to the newest Directors along with the rest of the Board. We’ll have a slide presentation highlighting 2016 as well as reports from Board and Management.

Community Cider Backyard Fruit Drive

Apple Outlaw Cider, in collaboration with the local community, is setting out for the second year to create a one of a kind hard cider, dubbed “Apple Outlaw Community Cider”. Soon neighborhood fruit trees will paint the sidewalk and backyard fallen fruit will be ripe pickings for the deer. Instead of letting your overripe and wormy pears, plums and apples go to waste, bring them to the Co-op for collection where Apple Outlaw is ready to help you turn that fruit into something more.
