Let’s get fresh! Liven up your grilling and summer dishes with homemade salsa. Adding fruit and fresh peppers into a salsa recipe is a great way to infuse the flavors of summer in every dish. Grilling your fruit, peppers or onion deepens their flavors, so throw some on next time you light up the grill.
Nature has a funny way of taking care of us humanoids. Take for example the prolific sunshine lover, the tomato. Everyone has heard that tomatoes contain lycopene, which gives them a rich red hue and a bounty of health benefits, but did you know that lycopene also acts as a natural sun-block, hence why tomatoes are in season during the sunshiny months!
