Recipes - Time Savers

Deliciously dairy-free.
Diet Type: Vegetarian
Ingredients:
  • 2 teaspoons unbleached white flour
  • 1/2 cup plain rice milk
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup grated almond cheese
  • Serves: 4
    Cooking Time: Under 15 minutes
    Instructions:
    Toss the flour into the grated cheese until all cheese is coated. Gently heat milk in a suacepan until hot but not bubbling. Gradually add cheese, stirring constantly, until thick. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Serve over steamed broccoli, cauliflower, grains or potatoes.

    With a dehydrator you can create everything from snacks to dessert, including bread, pizza crust, granola and crispy crackers. Heating foods at low temoperatures can yield results that are crispy, seem baked, store well and are easy to pack and carry when you travel. Generous sampling will make a fine dinner!
