At a young age Laurie learned how to cook as a form of recreation and a survival skill. Growing up in the Midwest “a person cannot live on tatertot hotdishes alone!” She has since honed her skills while becoming a certified Food for Life Instructor, and obtaining a Plant-Based Nutrition Certificate from Cornell University. Laurie specializes in plant based dishes that are low-fat, easy to prepare and delicious. She loves to relax by turning up some tunes and creating in either her kitchen or art studio.
