We’re starting to see a new kitchen toy emerge…the cell phone. We’ve always had people standing in the aisles, calling home to describe what’s available in the meat department, or asking which brand of cracker was preferred. Now we’re seeing folks use their Blackberries or iPhones in other ways, as explained in this article in the New York Times.

Here’s a few more reasons why good cooks like myself should own an iPhone! Imagine being able to convert measurements on the spot or look up recipes or the history or nutritional content of foods without leaving a simmering pan! I’m sold.
